"Quantity recorded cannot be more than quantity ordered" alert when packing DO

The alert "Quantity recorded cannot be more than quantity ordered" appears when attempting to pack a Delivery Order if the packed quantity exceeds the ordered quantity in the Sales Order.

Here are most common causes for this issue:

1. Outdated Sales Order Information:

When a Sales Order is created and confirmed with a specific quantity, and later the quantity is modified without clicking the "Sync to Creator" button, the Sales Order in Creator will still show the old quantities. Meanwhile, the inventory will reflect the new values. As a result, if you try to pack items using the outdated quantities shown in Creator, an error will occur. You can identify that last Qty wasn't reflected by checking the Qty in Sales Order and comparing it to Qty in DO.

 Solution:

   1. Delete the current Delivery Order.

   2. Click the "Sync to Creator" button in Zoho Inventory to update the values.

   3. Create a new Delivery Order and proceed with packing.

2. Package already created in Zoho Inventory:

This issue may be caused by API problems on Zoho's side, sometimes occurring during slow performance, or when the package was created in Zoho Inventory instead of Zoho Creator. This issue can be identified by checking the Package exist in Zoho Inventory, but not "Packed" in Creator.

Solution:

   1. Delete the package in Zoho Inventory using the regular "Delete" package button (not a custom button).

   2. Click the "Sync to Creator" button in Zoho Inventory to update the values.

   3. Create a new Delivery Order and proceed with packing.
